On 3 February 2026, the APTERR Secretariat has welcomed two officials, Mr. ENDO Wataru, Section Chief from Consumption Statistics Office and Ms. IDA Reina, Staff from Statistics Planning Division, both are from Statistics Department, MAFF of Japan, together with Dr. Sumanya Ngandee, AFSIS Manager, for the APTERR briefing at the APTERR Secretariat office. Both of them participated in the internship programme at the ASEAN Food Security Information System (AFSIS) Secretariat during February 2026.

On the occasion of New Year 2026, the APTERR Secretariat has visited several high-level governmental officers of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand to have a small greeting and meeting on the APTERR activities for this year as the OAE is also APTERR Council member from Thailand and has been providing office space and facilities for the APTERR Secretariat as an in-kind contribution to APTERR organisation.
