On 10 March 2023, the representatives from APTERR Secretariat, led by Dr. Choomjet Karnjanakesorn, General Manager, together with Mr. Toshiki Tojo, Japanese Expert, and APTERR Staff attended the Big Cleaning Day event of fiscal year 2023 organised by the Office of the Secretary, Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), Thailand in order to clean up and prepare the office for the upcoming 44^th anniversary of the OAE. The event started with the opening remarks of Mr.Chantanon Wannakejohn, Secretary General of OAE, which participated by various divisions such as International Agricultural Economics Division, AFSIS Secretariat, and more.

 On 21 February 2023, the APTERR Secretariat representatives led by Dr. Choomjet Karnjanakesorn, General Manager, accompanied by Mr. Toshiki Tojo, Japanese Expert, and APTERR staff attended the Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Thailand. The celebration was held at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). In this special occasion, Dr. Karnjanakesorn expressed his gratitude and rejoicing to be invited to attend the celebration to H.E. Mr. NASHIDA Kazuya, the ambassador of Japan to Thailand.

 It was a great opportunity for the APTERR Secretariat to be invited to attend the virtual workshop on Food Security: Sharing Evidence and Policy Experiences organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on 2 February 2023 to foster a policy dialogue on food security between the ASEAN and OECD member countries and secretariats.
