The APTERR Secretariat was invited by the Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mr. OTAKA Masato to attend a reception event to celebrate the 66th Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan hosted by the Embassy of Japan on 12 February 2026 at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr. Choomjet Karnjanakesorn, General Manager of APTERR Secretariat, together with Mr. Aro Kasakawa, Japanese Expert, and Mr. Prakorn Lorsiriwong, Administrative Staff, joined the event as representatives from APTERR Secretariat. In this regard, Dr. Karnjanakesorn also invited two officials form MAFF of Japan, Mr. Endo Wataru, Section Chief from Consumption Statistics Office and Ms. Ida Reina, Staff from Statistics Planning Division, both are from Statistics Department, to accompany APTERR Secretariat to the reception event.
As the event was participated by various organisations, private sectors, diplomatic corps, relevant to Japan and International Affairs such as Embassy and Consulate, Intergovernmental Organisation (IGO), private company, and etc., Dr. Karnjanakesorn took this great opportunity to introduce APTERR organisation and activity to expand and strengthen the visibility and awareness of APTERR to the public.
