ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve

This year, the APTERR Secretariat had an opportunity to welcome Mr. Pirapat Shimphalee and Mr. Pakapon Jarukittiyon, third-year students from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty of Social Science, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, to participate in our internship programme during 3 June - 3 July 2019.
Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee, General Manager of the APTERR Secretariat, together with APTERR staff visited ThaiFex-World of Food Asia 2019 on 28 May 2019 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. This visit provided staff members with knowledge and experiences on future trends for the food industry, such as new food technology ideas, innovative food delivery applications, customisable robotic solutions, and so on, which could be further adaptable to the agricultural development and food security related to APTERR activities.
General Manager of the APTERR Secretariat Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee together with APTERR staff Ms.Jansinee Kankaew and Ms.Nattavadee Sraprathum attended the ceremonial distribution of 1,000-MT rice contributed by the Republic of Korea to help people affected by terrible floods following dam collapses in Attapeu province, Lao PDR.

The APTERR Secretariat led by General Manager Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee attended the ceremonial handover of 1,000 MT rice contributed by the Republic of Korea (ROK) through the APTERR Tier 3 programme to help people affected by tragedy floods following dam collapses in Attapeu province.
General Manager of the APTERR Secretariat Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee together with Deputy Chief of Mission Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Myanmar Mr. Jung Yung Soo attended the ceremonial distribution of rice contributed by the ROK to help people affected by severe monsoon floods in Myanmar.
