ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve
The representatives from the APTERR Secretariat attending the Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 38th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (SSOM-38th AMAF) and the Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 16th ASEAN Plus Three Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (SSOM-16th AMAF+3) held on 14 – 16 August 2017 in Singapore.
The Preparatory Senior Officials Meeting of the 29th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry, the Preparatory Senior Officials Meeting of the 17th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Plus Three, the 39th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry, and the 17th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry were held on 25 – 29 September 2017 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Mr.Chanpithya Shimphalee, General Manager of the APTERR Secretariat, together with Mr. Yoshiharu Toeda, Japanese expert, welcomed Mr.Kotaro Suzuki, Ms.Motoko Hanada and Ms. Ratree Makmee, representatives from Japan-based trading company Kanamatsu Corporation for a visit of the APTERR Secretariat’s office on 31 May 2017.
The 5th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) was held on 3-4 May 2017 in Bali, Indonesia. The Meeting was organised by the APTERR Secretariat while hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia.
The representatives from the APTERR Secretariat attended the 37th Meeting of the ASEAN Food Security Reserve Board (AFSRB) on 26 – 27 April 2017 in Makati City, the Philippines. The Meeting was attended by the representatives from ASEAN Member States except Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia due to the unforeseeable circumstances.
